On Wednesday, the 14/10/2009, the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK Potsdam) presented its enterprise award for 2009. Businesses from western Brandenburg could enter the competition for the award in the categories of "growth", "innovation", and "social commitment".
Due to our particular social commitment at our Trebbin plant, our business ppg>wegoflex won the 2009 enterprise award of the IHK Potsdam in the category "social commitment". The jury was particularly impressed by our support and promotion of regional projects which promise sustainable value to us. As well as individual donations, e.g. the foregoing of Christmas gifts for customers and suppliers in favour of a donation to the "Luckenwalder Tafel", we offer social facilities a partnership built on perspective. In this way, we support the local association "VFB Trebbin" with jerseys for various youth teams at our Trebbin site, and finance an English-speaking teacher in a Kindergarten there.
